El Potrero Chico Rock Climbing: Spectacular rock climbing in sunny Mexico

Climbing in Mexico isn't just restricted to climbing volcanos anymore. Now you can pull on limestone edges and maintain your fitness level by ascending multi-pitch and single pitch rock climbs, leaving your crampons and ice axes behind you. Our seven day trip combines excellent rock climbs within an easy walking distance of where we will be staying. A comfortable rancho offers comfort, delicious meals with delightful apres climbing beverages for after-hours entertainment. You will get picked up at the Monterrey airport and within one hour be in your room which is fifteen minutes from the climbing. There is a communal kitchen where we will prepare meals from local produce and watch the sun set behind the summit of Potrero Chico.

All of the routes at Potrero Chico are sport climbs thereby minimizing the necessary climbing equipment required for climbing. This is the perfect winter climbing spot where you can climb every day and become stronger and more fit than by remaining at home where the temperatures may be too low to comfortably climb outdoors. We run this trip from December through March when the temperatures average 60-80 degrees.

The specific route choices will vary according to the group's experience level and fitness but options range from one pitch to 15 pitches.
